Request Data Deletion
QBox Player, by OpenRise Studio
QBox Player does not use accounts — there's nothing to "delete an account" for. This page explains how to request deletion of the data we do hold, which is tied to an anonymous device identifier rather than your identity.
How to request deletion
- Open QBox Player, go to Settings → About, and copy the Device ID shown there.
- Email support@openrisestudio.com from any address, with the Device ID (and, if your request concerns a specific shared drop, the drop's QR link or slug).
- We'll verify the request is reasonable and delete the matching records, then confirm by email.
Because there's no account or login, we can only locate data if you provide the device identifier or drop link connected to it — we have no other way to look it up.
What gets deleted
- The device record and its daily-activity/usage history;
- Any drops (shared songs) created by that device, including audio files if not already auto-deleted;
- Reports and moderation history tied to that device, unless retention is required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or an active dispute.
What may be retained
- Crash/diagnostic reports already sent to Sentry, per Sentry's own retention settings — these aren't linked to a device identifier we can search by;
- Records we're required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, kept only as long as reasonably necessary.
See the full Privacy Policy for complete details on what's collected and how long it's normally kept.
